This cold and super-refreshing tequila cocktail with a creamy froth on top has just the right amount of sweet and sour. Shake it up with fresh lime juice, tequila, simple syrup and egg white!
Pour everything except the ice into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Add ice to fill the shaker 1/3 full and shake for another 30 seconds.
Strain into 2 glasses and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
To make simple syrup:Stir together 1 cup granulated sugar with 1 cup cold water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and stir until dissolved. Cool completely in the refrigerator before using. Simple syrup will keep about 1 month refrigerated.Raw egg whites - If you prefer not to use raw egg whites, use pasteurized egg whites from a carton.
