Ingredients
carrots
herbs

Add the chicken parts, vegetables, herbs and water to a large pot. Simmer for 3 hours.
Set a fine mesh strainer or a colander lined with cheesecloth over a large bowl and strain.
Tip
: Tuck the edges of the cheesecloth into the bowl to keep it from slipping.
Cool the stock to room temperature, then transfer to storage containers and refrigerate until completely cold.
