Luscious Homemade Fettuccine Alfredo

This recipe walks through the steps for making classic fettuccine Alfredo recipe at home, with plenty of creamy, buttery sauce. Using pantry staples like butter, cream, fettuccine noodles and Parmesan cheese, you can make one of the most comforting and soul-satisfying pasta dinners in about 10 minutes.







Put one stick of cubed butter in a 3-4 quart saucepan or large skillet and place over medium-high heat to melt.

Pour in the cream and add salt. Continue cooking until the cream begins to rise to the top of the pan and comes to a boil.

Immediately adjust the heat to medium or medium-low. Gently simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened slightly.

Add the grated cheese , whisking until blended.

Drain the cooked fettuccine and toss with the parsley and 1/4 cup additional cheese.
