crushed  red pepper

canned tomato


olive oil

tomato  paste

capers + anchovey

Put the olive oil, anchovy, capers and red pepper in a large skillet.

Cook until the anchovy melts into the oil.

Add the garlic, olives and tomato paste.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes.

Serve the thick and deletable puttanesca sauce with pasta, meatballs or grilled tuna steaks.
